摘要

铁 (Fe) 是人体新陈代谢众多途径中必需的微量元素。 因此,缺铁会导致多种健康问题。 除了众所周知的小细胞性贫血外,缺乏铁还会导致儿童、孕妇和成人严重的精神运动障碍。 缺铁是一个全球性的健康问题,主要是由饮食缺乏引起的,但炎症状况会加剧缺铁。 需要在国家和国际层面解决与这一缺陷相关的挑战。 本综述旨在简要总结全球公共卫生背景下缺铁造成的疾病负担,并希望提供一些实践指南。
