癌症是一种对全世界产生深远影响的病理学。 针对癌症的选举策略通常使用化学疗法和放射疗法，这往往会带来许多副作用，并且并不总是被认为是可靠的疗效。 相比之下，众所周知，富含水果和蔬菜的饮食对癌症的侵袭和发展具有保护作用。 通常认为多酚至少部分地对这些有益作用负责。 在这篇综述中，我们强调了多酚与我们的代谢之间的代谢相互作用，并讨论了它们在抗癌预防和治疗方面的潜力。
