Abstract: Fungi produce a variety of proteins with antiproliferative activity toward tumor cells and anticancer activity in
tumor bearing mice. The aforementioned fungal proteins include ribonucleases, antifungal proteins, ubiquitin-like peptides,
ribosome inactivating proteins, hemolysins, hemagglutinins/lectins, laccases, and protein-bound polysaccharopeptides.
