摘要

他汀类药物(3-羟基-3-甲基戊二酰辅酶a还原酶抑制剂)可降低血浆胆固醇，改善内皮依赖性血管舒张、炎症和氧化应激。近年来，他汀类药物对中枢神经系统(CNS)的影响，特别是对认知和神经系统疾病，如缺血性脑卒中、多发性硬化症(MS)和阿尔茨海默病(AD)的影响，在科学界和媒体上受到越来越多的关注。本文综述了他汀类药物对各种神经系统细胞(包括神经元和胶质细胞)分化和功能的影响。此外，作用机制和不同类型的他汀类药物如何进入中枢神经系统将被讨论。
